Yukon Film Society, YF&SC and SPYA have teamed up to offer the Yukon Mentorship Initiative. This program provides Yukon based producers, directors and crew with the opportunity to be mentored by a filmmaker or industry professional of their own choosing.

Yukon Filmmakers Fund
The purpose of the program is to deliver funding to Yukon film and video professionals to assist them in developing viable careers and businesses making films and videos for broadcast or commercial release.
To be eligible, the applicant must be a Canadian citizen or have landed immigrant status and must have lived in Yukon for at least one continuous year prior to the award deadline.
There are two intakes each year with a June 1st and December 1st deadline.
Northwestel Community TV can trigger development applications to the Canadian Media Fund through the Northern Incentive. Deadline for 2016-17 applications is Dec 1st.
